Left Foot Charley Winery

Left Foot Charley is a winery like no other. In lieu of the single estate model, LFC is a collection of grape and apple growers located throughout Northern Michigan dedicated to growing fruit for our wine and cider. Located in the urban setting of the former Traverse City State Hospital campus known as The Village, LFC creates an array of balanced white wine, red wine, and hard cider. Every bottle tells the story of the farm, the vintage and the winemaker's dream of sharing it all with you.

The Barrel Room

Over sixty years after the last fruits were taken from the root cellar, Left Foot Charley began using one of these buildings for its original intention - aging and storing locally grown crops. Here, in this naturally climate-controlled building, we are aging our barreled wines for up to three years and offering one of a kind tasting experiences.

Spanglish Cafe & Catering  evolved from our love to cook and work together. Our bright and flavorful food has evolved over ten years. Our Tamales contain no hydrogenated lard, shortenings or trans fats. Traditional Mexican Food is our starting point but we will bend the rules to make a recipe better. We love to mix in American ingredients and cooking techniques. We really love what we do and it shows!
